• Easy Connection & Control: A simple and intuitive interface makes it easy to connect with others, manage location sharing, and control your sharing preferences.

2. Information We Collect

We only collect information necessary to provide and improve our core location-based features, and all collection is based on your explicit consent.

2.1 Location Information

• Shared Location: With mutual authorization between connected users, we collect and process location information shared by you and other authorized users to enable features like location sharing, real-time updates, and location history viewing. This information includes precise or approximate location data, depending on your device settings and consent.
• Device Location: When you authorize the App to access your device's location, we collect location data to help locate your device when needed, as well as to support real-time updates and location history features.

All location information is processed only as permitted by your consent and is not collected without your explicit authorization.

2.2 Device and Usage Information

The App may collect basic technical data to maintain compatibility, stability, and optimize performance, including:

• Device model, operating system version, and unique device identifiers (e.g., GAID)
• General usage statistics, such as feature interaction frequency, connection history with other users, and session duration

This information is anonymized where possible and used solely to improve the App's functionality and user experience.

2.3 Permission Requests

To enable core features, the App may request the following permissions with your explicit consent:

• Location Permission (Precise/Approximate): Required to collect and share location data for features like real-time updates, device location, and location history. We may request background location access to ensure continuous location updates when the App is running in the background, as needed for your intended use.
• Contact Access (Optional): To help you easily connect with contacts who also use the App, you may grant permission to access your device's contacts. We do not store or share your contact information without your consent.

We use collected information only for the following purposes, aligned with our core features:

• To provide location sharing services between mutually authorized users, facilitating meetups, trips, and daily coordination
• To help locate authorized devices when requested by you or authorized connected users

• To maintain and improve the App's performance, stability, and user experience, including troubleshooting technical issues

We do not use your location data or personal information for unrelated purposes such as targeted advertising without your explicit additional consent.

4. Data Storage and Security

• Location information shared between users is stored temporarily on our secure servers only for the duration necessary to provide the requested service (e.g., until location sharing is disabled or the connection between users is terminated). After this period, the data is deleted from our servers.
• Device and usage information may be stored on our servers in anonymized form for analytics and performance improvement purposes, with strict access controls in place.
• We implement industry-standard security measures, including encryption (TLS/SSL for data transmission, AES for stored data), to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.
• You can also manage how long your location history is stored through the App's settings, and delete your location history at any time.

5. Third-Party Services

The App may integrate third-party services to support functionality and improve performance. These services may collect limited technical or usage data in accordance with their own privacy policies. We do not control how third parties process such data.

• Google Firebase (for analytics, crash reporting, and stability monitoring)

You have full control over your data and permissions, including the right to:

• Manage or revoke app permissions (e.g., location access, contact access) through your device settings at any time. Disabling location permission will limit access to core location-based features.
• Control location sharing preferences within the App, including choosing which users to share your location with, enabling or disabling real-time updates, and deleting your location history.
• Request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information processed by us.
• Stop using the App and uninstall it at any time, which will terminate all ongoing location sharing and prompt us to delete your location data from our servers.

8. Children's Privacy

Family Locator: GPS Tracker is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information, including location data, from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected such information without appropriate guardian consent, we will take immediate steps to delete it.
