Welcome to PDF Flux Reader - Fast Editor. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information. Throughout this document, PDF Flux Reader - Fast Editor may be referred to as "the App," "we," "us," or "our." By downloading, installing, or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with these practices, please do not use the App or provide us with any information. Your continued use of the App constitutes your ongoing acceptance of this Policy and any future updates.
1. Data Processing and Local Storage
The most critical aspect of our service is that we do not upload, collect, or store your documents on any remote servers.
Local Processing: All PDF viewing, editing, signing, and image-to-PDF conversions are performed strictly on your local device.
No Content Access: We do not have the technical means to access the content of the files you open or create within the App.
2. Detailed Permissions Usage
To provide professional document management experience, the App requires the following permissions:
All Files Access (MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE): This is the core of our "Flux" experience. It allows the App to index documents scattered across different system folders, enabling unified search, batch renaming, and moving files. Without this, the "Fast Editor" and management features would be non-functional.
Foreground Service (FOREGROUND_SERVICE): Required to maintain the integrity of heavy processing tasks (e.g., converting a 50-page image set to PDF) even if you switch to another app temporarily.
Camera: Only accessed when you use the "Scan to PDF" feature.
3. Detailed Permissions Usage
To deliver a professional-grade document management and editing experience, the App requires specific system permissions. We adhere to the principle of "least privilege," requesting only what is strictly necessary for core functionality:
All Files Access (MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE):
This permission is the technical foundation of our ecosystem. It grants the App the ability to scan, index, and organize PDF and Office documents stored across various, non-standard system directories. Specifically, it enables:
Unified Dashboard: Automatically aggregating scattered files into a single, searchable interface.
Advanced File Operations: Allowing you to perform critical management tasks—such as batch renaming, moving files between folders, and deleting redundant copies—directly within the App.
Format Conversion: Ensuring our "Fast Editor" can read source files and save converted results (e.g., Image to PDF) back to your preferred storage path.
Note: We do not access, read, or collect any private data outside of the document types supported by the App.
Foreground Service (FOREGROUND_SERVICE):
To ensure the reliability of complex operations, we utilize Foreground Services for:
Processing Integrity: Preventing the Android system from terminating the App during heavy tasks, such as rendering large-scale PDF files or high-resolution image-to-PDF conversions.
Background Completion: Allowing long-running tasks to complete successfully even if you switch to another application, ensuring you do not lose progress or experience file corruption.
Camera Access:
The App requests camera access exclusively for the "Scan to PDF" feature. This allows you to capture physical documents and instantly convert them into digital PDF format. We do not take photos or record video without your explicit interaction with the scan button, and all captured images are processed locally on your device.
4. Third-Party Services and Analytics
To sustain the development of PDF Flux Reader - Fast Editor and ensure app stability, we integrate industry-standard SDKs. These third parties may collect data as follows:
AdMob (Google Ads):
We use AdMob to serve advertisements, which allows us to provide core features for free. AdMob may collect and use your Advertising ID (AAID), device IP address, and technical device information to:
Deliver relevant advertisements.
Prevent fraud and limit the number of times you see the same ad.
Firebase Analytics & Crashlytics (Google):
To provide a "Fast" and error-free experience, we use Firebase to monitor app performance. This data is anonymized and de-identified, focusing on technical metrics such as:
Crash Reports: Detailed logs of why the App stopped working, helping us provide rapid bug fixes.
Feature Engagement: Measuring which tools (like the PDF Editor or Scanner) are most popular to guide our future development.
Device Specs: Understanding screen resolutions and OS versions to optimize the rendering engine for all users.
This data is used solely for internal optimization and is never sold to third parties.
